Hi, the printer comes with power loss recovery?
I still cannot feed the filament into my K1C easily and am tempted to feed it through the roof in a vertical loop like the old Flashforge Finders used to. The filament goes through a sharp turn just before the extruder and I'm having to push it hard to get it loading. Maybe make a large tall plastic cover for it. If it gets to that stage, I'd also move the filament sensor to the side front to make loading easy while facing it.
finally ive accidentally found the way to access the built in klipper on my v3 after stumbling upon this video. finding info about this printer is like pulling teeth sometimes... I have a bone to pick with whoever is in charge of creality's naming scheme.
On her back.
Great tips, Guy. And for taking the time to providing the links to the files. Will be printing them out very soon. I really can't thank you enough! Thank you, thank you, thank you! Very much appreciated. 👍😊
Hi, nice video! I’m looking to do some of the mods to my new k1c and wondering where you got the screws, nuts and washers? My local big box stores don’t have metric. Did you happen to purchase an assortment pack from Amazon of these mods? Tia!
Nice
Nice
Does the runout sensor side mount use the original screws from when it was mounted on the back?
Hello! Could you please show your setup for the space pi filament dryer together with this print? You are side loading it straight from the dryer to the runnout sensor right?
help!! My longer just stops after framing / patrolling. It did one perfect engraving and now this. its brand new!
Can you print multiple things at once and what is the program name
It is so much better if you root it and using orcaslicer…..it is a different machine.
I didn't need to mod mine but I will I'll wait till the warranty runs out first
Did you have the DC on when you first ran the dado?
Like you said. DO NOT UPDATE THE KLIPPER Firmware!!!!!!! It will brick it. You have been warned!
Mine is being delivered this week. Would you please tell me the exact size of the base. I have the bolt pattern but the manual does not have overall dimensions. Making a base before it gets here. Thank you
Nice.. using this as a makeshift router. For the shelving… !
Great idea!
Micro swiss makes a replacement hotend with some good nozzles. 🔥
I finally swapped from resin printing and got a k1 on sale. Its been great out of the box. Just wish I had the space for the k1 max but i didnt want to get rid of my uniformation resin printer.
How did you like the uniformatiom? Was thinking about getting one
@ThatsPety it's a great resin printer that was up and printing in less than 20 minutes. The few print fails have been my fault due to bad support placement. Just don't bother with their wash and cure station. Anycubic's is better and cheaper. Beware the amount of space it all takes up though.
Please share the stl for the spool holder, I cant find it :(
I speak Spanish so I didn't understand everything haha, but what material is everything printed on and number 2... would that work with the K1? Or do they have different measurements?
For a total beginner do you reccommend Ender 3 V3 KE, Creality K1C or Qidi Q1 pro? I think to go on K1C or Q1 pro only for having the possibility of print hard material like ABS or ASA but if are equal I don't want to wast money. I want also the best print quality without artifactas. Help me. Thank you
I really like the K1C

Was curious why didn't you use stop blocks on the router table when you were drilling the mortise. Wouldn't this be more accurate when doing multiple mortises.
is it worth buying the enter 5, I found it quite cheap, it needs a search in Greece, there are good used ones, it's worth getting the model, is this upgrade you made the motherboards for making our own printer? for height width
I have also found the ender 3 v3 KE 150 euro, is it worth buying? if I can get it And I found the ender 5 with extra µmicrowiss investment some noizle Here it has prices 300 400 In the shops .. For used I found it 150 euro I am thinking of getting both they are good bargain prices because they are not easy to find with little money I find a few pieces here
I've been saying I'm going to get a 3D printer for years and years. Sigh... Great video!
Go for it!
I watched your video and went and bought one, it's so friendly for us girls, very easy to use and I've printed so many great-looking models so far. Thank you so much!
Wonderful!
Can you use this on a saw stop jobsite saw?
How would i connect the ptfe tube from the dryer to the filament sensor?
Great teaching video Guy
Glad you liked it!
So there are six casters on the workbench/table? or is there a seventh in the Middle, im not seeing?
Just the six in the outside of the case. Still works great after all this time!
i need to buy these files to print them?
Nope. They are all free at the links in the description
Can you reuse the "rubber" (rag) on another project much later on, even after the shellac has dried into it?
Absolutely! Just wet it again with some alcohol and then recharge with shellac.
@@GuysShop That's what I figured, so I did and it worked out great. Thanks.
Which slicer do you use for this printer?
Orca SLicer and Creality Print
@@GuysShop can not find my printer in them. I live in Europe is that a problem perhaps?
@@GuysShop I can not find my cr 10 se in any of them. What am I doing wrong?
It's very sad that it has to be corrected after the factory. The printer doesn't cost $1. Should I pay $600 and print the parts at home?? I wonder if it will be the same with K2. We'll do shit and you can fix it at home. Give us your money and fuck off.
Buying a Creality printer and doing some quality of life mods are kinda baked into the cake.
Why doesn't Creality do it? After all, it's a piece of cake for them....
Logical upgrades or mods.
Thanks!
you have the protractor backwards on the fence of the protractor. It is meant to sit on that level top ridge.
Perfect & clear. Great work!
Thank you! Cheers!
Great video!
Glad you enjoyed it
This is some extremely advanced wood working holy cow man...
Hi, Thanks for the great video. I am just waiting for the delivery of my K1. Can you let me know where I can get the files for the Riser, Door Hinges and filament holder please
In the description
the only thing that i imagine not that easy is hand plunging the wood into the router bit for the mortise cut. No kickback danger there?
This is what a master of his profession looks like! Take notes folks!
This is fantastic! Do you happen to have plans and a parts list?
I do not have any issue's with my print bed as long as I let it cool. In fact some prints release themselves. You will hear a pop and they have sprung free. I noticed it looks like your first layer looks a little low. Maybe use baby stepping and raise the first layer slightly?
Unfortunately the Runout Sensor Mounting Block did not work for me I did not have enough slack It had to much tension to pull out
same, can't get it out. don't want to break it
I saw a online that you can get more slack out of the wire by taking the bottom of the printer off and undoing the zip tie holding the wire.
Hi Guy. Noel here - a short-tempered impatient Vietnam vet from down here in australia. I just bought a K1C from Creality and am in the process of assembling it right now, and really appreciate all the work you have put nto the upgrade, and am hoping you can help me (I am willing to pay $$). My unit didn't come with the triangular piece to hold the filament spools on the side of the casing. Have, by and chance, designed an .stl for this triaangular piece? Noel
Hi Noel, I could be mistaken, but I believe that the triangular bracket used to side mount the spool holder on the K1C is included in the presliced models that come with the printer. All you need to do is select it from the list and print it.
